I had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel facilities are impressive and exceed expectations. The room provided was large, clean, and well-furnished. The breakfast spread was like a feast each morning. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to accommodate my needs.

The hotel's location is far from the beach with no sound insulation from the noisy surroundings. the room has no table, and the towels were not replaced, nor garbage removed for days. the breakfast consists of a sparse continental meal with toasts, juice, and fruits. the hosts aren't helpful or welcoming, except when calling tuk-tuks. the bathroom is small with an average shower, and the bed has a mosquito net that doesn't prevent bites. the swimming pool is the only advantage, but it's tiny and not well-maintained.

The hotel was located in a great area with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. the room was well-decorated and comfy to stay in. the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The welcome by the friendly owners felt like we were visiting family. Delicious breakfast was served each morning with different Sri Lankan dishes. The cleanliness of the room and pool was highly appreciated.

No fresh towels were provided after a couple of days and the garbage was not cleared. It would have been great to have some clear indications of the hotel's location.
